Junior - Level 1 (J1) / Junior - Level 2 (J2) / FIS

The final stage in the club is the move into the Junior-FIS program (120+ days on snow) starting at fifteen years of age. This phase known as the “Train to Race-optimizing the engine”; takes athletes who aspire to the highest levels in the sport and provides a year round program and coaching staff.

Ideally, athletes will move onto the Alberta Ski Team and beyond to continue following their dreams of representing Canada at World class events. Alpine skiing provides an unbelievable structure to grow in life and to learn many of life’s lessons; not only in winning but in defeat as well. For those athletes who want to remain in the sport after retiring from competition the club offers a Coaching Apprenticeship program to capture the spirit and to pass along the passion of skiing to new generations to come.
